I appreciate the opportunity of being able to work in a group, although sometimes it can get frustrating. One person may believe that they are doing all the work, but when in reality they haven’t contributed anything towards the project. I believe that everyone should be equal and have the same amount of work, none less and none more. But sometimes, it just seems that there is always going to be someone that is going to try and be the smart mouth, or try and control everyone. I enjoyed this group project, but next time I will choose carefully.

I have learned that when your in a group project it's fast pase. It doesn't take long to complete the project, because everyone in the group has a task that they have to complete. I also learned to choose your group members wisely, because many people slack off when it comes to group projects. Yes, I do feel like I've grown while doing this project, because iv'e learned about the Freedom Riders and how they helped end segregation in public places.

I beliave that while working in groups I have learn that every part is inportant while working in a group.Even if your job is just keeping up with the script either way its still important.Say one day you forgot the script and it was the only day that the group could meet up then your hole group would get a bad grade for what that person did. Thats what I learned from being in a group.

What I’ve learned in my group is that when you are responsible for an important part of a project, you have to take it seriously because it could mean failure for the whole project. I have gained a sense of responsibility and maturity. I feel as though I have grown in the process of working in my group. If my part of the project is not complete, then I can take full responsibility for it.

Unknown said...

Some things that I have learned are to always follow my timeline, and that there is no time to play.Yes, I do feel like that I have grown through this process, and I feel like I have gotten better at being in an amended group.

I have a learned a lot during this movie trailer project. Working in a group made things a lot easier, and a lot more efficient .I also think I have matured during this project. That means I have learned to be responsible and do my part. It also means I have learned to take on the consequences.

I feel that I have grown and learned more, because while I have been working with my group, I am learning how to make a movie trailer. If I wanted to become a movie director, I would at least know how to make a movie trailer.

Unknown said...

I have learned that when working in a group work gets done faster.I also learned that I being on time to group meetings are important so everyone can get the new information. I do feel that both myself and my group members have grown and that everyone is learning to be on time to group meanings.

During the project we have worked on how the display of the project should be and lots of visual ideas. In the project I think I have grown abundantly because this has shown me how lots of people can think as one. This is will help me in the future to show me how to work corporately with others and find solutions faster.

Unknown said...

I agree with Daniella Odogwu, beacause I would not have been able to do it on my own.

Unknown said...

I appreciate the option of I would like to work with. But who I opted for probably was a mistake.I will not name any names but some people in my group do not have the best work ethics. Sometimes I am very furstrated with this person. But as a well mannered person I will try and get along with her. I have learned that everyone is not going to agree with you but you have to be open to suggestions.

Unknown said...

I agree with Zahra because time goes by really quick.

Unknown said...

The things I’ve learned from this project were interesting. We’re doing a project based on a true story. We’re being creative in our own way. Everyone has a certain role to play. The roles we are given matter for the group. Some groups are planning ahead (Example: Chat on Google+ @ 7 p.m.). I have felt like I've grown from this process because some of us students may want to do this later on in our lives, making those “blockbuster” movies.

Unknown said...

I have learned that if you don’t choose the correct group to work with on your project you will fail. Picking the perfect person is hard because most kids tend to slack off on projects with more than one person. They tend to not do anything because they think that you will do everything. Most times students will decide since they are working by themselves that they will do their best, more so than when they are in a group when they are in a group they tend to decide since they have someone else to do the work they will put all the burden on them. They don’t think that not doing anything will have any effect on the person or the project. I feel that I have grown a lot more since this project because now I know not to judge a person by the way their projects are done because sometimes it tends to change and they actually put the burden on you

While I have been working with my group for the movie trailer project I have kind of learned that more responsibility than I thought would be involved in this project. Even though we all do our part sometimes we need to make sure that others have their part done. Mostly they do. So far my group and I have been working diligently throughout the project. We have been meeting up on the weekends, getting more work done. In this process, this project so far has made me a more responsible person.

Unknown said...

I feel like I have benefited from this project. The things that I have learned to do are very helpful to me because I might have to do it in the future. I learned that you could not rush the process of good quality work. In addition, it is better to go and get things over with because if you do not you would not have as much fun as you would like. The project is amazing. In addition, the fun that we are having is joy. We are serious and are dedicated to the work we do. Hard work and a good work ethic is where we are. I would like to work with this group again because of the determination that we have! I agree with Daniella because everyone should take his or her part because it is the right thing to do.

Unknown said...

I'm thankful for the opportunity to work in a group of boys because if a girl was in my group we would have to go through some difficulties. And i think that this project is a fun experience for this class

Unknown said...

This whole movie trailer project has been a great experience so far. I have learned a lot of things that I didn’t know about technology. I learned all about this cool and useful software that helps you make mini movies. I do believe that this whole movie making process has made me grow as a person and has made my knowledge grow. This whole process will give me a lot of knowledge that I could use with future projects. This project has also made me more responsible and more mature because I have to work hard, be serious, and finish all my work on the due dates.

Unknown said...

I agree with Aniyah Brown because it also showed me that a group of people can think as one.

Unknown said...

I feel that I can do anything. I say that because when I first started to do this project I was confused. This project was very difficult at first to me because at first I didn’t know how to download videos and put it together as a video.

Unknown said...

I agree with Tavaris Beal because it seems we have the same problem people in my group don't take their responsibility seriously either. I agree with Rodney Wade because this project has been interesting it has let peoples true character about group projects come to light in my opinion.

Unknown said...

Working in this group is very fun, even though sometimes we don't agree on each others ideas. This group movie trailer is educational and fun at the same.I have grown alot because of this project because I have learned alot about the great things a computer can do.

Unknown said...

I agree wityh Daniella Odogwu because I also believe everyone should have an equal amount of work.

Unknown said...

I agree with Daniella, but these are some things I have learned while working in a group: Work INDEPENDENTLY when you have the chance, unless you have a reliable group. It seems like every time we have to work with irresponsible, leftover group members and it gets old having to do all the work on your own! This is what I have learned about working effectively in a group during our movie trailer project.

Unknown said...

During this project, I learned how to make a movie trailer on the computer. And I learned that working with my friends can have an effect on the project. So, now that I know that being in a project with my friends can have an effect, I am willing to choose people that are not my friends, and work with people who I don’t work with normally. I do feel like I've grown during this project. I feel like I matured, and that I have to be responsible for my part.

Unknown said...

I do think that my group members and I have grown through this process because we have worked really hard on this movie trailer. Also I know that it is my job to put this entire project together. Even though some of us have not contributed to the project completely, I still think that our group is the best group to do this Movie Trailer project.

Unknown said...

Some of the things I have learned were that you can’t get a grade from being lazy you can only get a grade from actually do the work this is something I learned from this experience. If I were to be working in a group right now they thought I would not help them at all with this project.

Unknown said...

I have learned more about the Freedom Riders while working in this group. I have learned more details about the Freedom Riders. This project was very fun, because I got to learn more.I feel I have grown in knowledge, because this is important
black history lesson.

Unknown said...

I like working in a group and it is easier. I really didn’t know what to do until Mrs. Lavender told me.

Unknown said...

I agree with Kameron Langford because the group members is required to work together.

I learn that when working effectively the work gets done on time and the work is quality work also you learn a lot when working effectively and you cover a lot of ground. Also the work gets done faster. This project has I learn that when working effectively the work gets done on time and the work is quality work also you learn a lot when working effectively and you cover a lot of ground. Also the work gets done faster. This project has changed me by teaching me to be responsible for my actions and how to turn in quality work

Unknown said...

I appreciate the opportunity of being able to work in a group, even though sometimes I get annoyed. When working in a group not just one person is doing all of the work because the work was split up into five parts. . But sometimes, it just seems that there is always going to be someone that is controlling everyone. I enjoyed this group project, but next time I will choose carefully even though my group was very awesome.

Unknown said...

I have learned that working with a group is not as easy as it may sound. Yes you have your pros of working in a group but there are some things you must bring to the table in order to succeed, like some of the things I learned working in a group is that it takes patients. It also takes everyone to do their part, so you all can become one mind in order to finish the project without any fights and all that drama. Do I think I have grown during this project, Yes I do because I was a person who didn’t want to be the one who was different and controlled. This project has taught me lessons I will never forget.

Unknown said...

I have learned that working with the right people affects the whole project. I feel as though I have grown during this project because I am learning new things.

Jay said...

I think that this project was a great opportunity to learn about the responsibility and maturity that it takes to actually do a project with other people. You have to learn how to understand what other people are saying even if you don’t like it and you also have to have a positive attitude throughout the project because it is very contagious. So if everyone has a positive attitude towards the project you can work productively and diligently. I also learned that you have to have patience when you’re working on a project with other people because without it there would be a lot of arguments about who’s right and who’s wrong. Finally I learned that you should never judge a book by its cover because I thought that a certain person in my group wouldn’t do their part but it turns out that they were just as eager to do their part as anyone else.

Unknown said...

I agree with Aniyah Brown because groups are suppose to work together if they don’t then they may not finish the project.

Unknown said...

What I learned from this project is you have to take responsibility for your actions. I also learn when you work with a group you must be serious from the start. I think have grown because I have learned many different things during this project.

Unknown said...

I agree with Jaylyn Sherrod, I fill like I have benefited for working with my members to because I learn not to judge a book by its cover.

Unknown said...

Some of the things I have learned about working effectively in a group during the movie project is that communication is a way you can get a lot of things done going to the library is not the only way. Also, instead of always asking the teacher how to do something I can look on the internet. Overall, I feel that I have grown during this process because it teaches me how to be independent and find things on my own. In conclusion, I feel that this project was made to increase student working skills as well as knowledge.

Unknown said...

I do think I have grown while doing this group project. I learned that you have to do your part first before you can worry about someone else. I say this, because if you do your part everyone will be able to get the project done. But if you don’t do your part then you will miss what you are supposed to do. So basically you will have every other part finished except for yours. Finished the whole project then go back and edit it. I also learned that you can make the project fun if you just work together.

Unknown said...

During this project I have leaned, when I send something really important to my teacher always send it to my group members so they don’t think that I did not do my part in this project. I do think that I have grown in this project even though the situation happened yesterday, because I finished sending the things that I needed to send yesterday. I also learned how to send music off my iPod.

Unknown said...

I agree with Daniella because it can get frustrating when your group is way off topic but sometimes we will get back focused.

Anonymous said...

I learned that not only is working with a group a big challenge, but when the teacher gives you your own responsibilities, it’s even harder. Especially when you are a control freak like me and you want to take over everyone’s job to make sure they do it right. For example, when the videographer had to write the skit, I really wanted to write it and share my creativity too! But everyone had his or her own job to do that I couldn’t do for them. Because of this, I feel that I have grown during this process in recognizing my own job and focusing on only that. Making sure that the other group members were doing their part, but not taking over if they didn’t. Overall, this project was creative and fun to do. Challenging, but still fun.

Unknown said...

I have learned that in groups you have to be very patient with yourself and your group mates, because if you don’t then what ever project or assignment you’re working on you won’t get a good grade on it. I've grown a lot during this project because my new group mates (Timothy and Casey) have been teaching me how to get my work done and not play around all the time. But Avante’ and Charleston have always been there for me and have brought out some good parts in me that I didn't even know I had.

Unknown said...

From working on this group project, I have learned many things. I’ve learned how others do in a group setting, some break under the pressure and others just don’t do the work, but there will always be one person or persons who will get the job done. I feel like I have grown in my knowledge about groups. My leadership skills have grown also. I have grown because I am experiencing new procedures and I think of it as an opportunity to do the same thing again but only better, so I do the best I can the first time then give it my all the other times.

Unknown said...

I've learning a lot from doing this project. Everyone has to take responsibility for their part and make sure it is done neatly and with a timely matter. I've learned to take responsibility for myself. I’m trying to learn to stop stressing over others parts of the project. I really want this to be above average and 100,000,000% over the top.

Unknown said...

What I’ve learned from this group project is to be patient and trust the other member. I feel like I am growing from this learning experience because I now know that I can trust people and not try do other people’s job because they have to have responsibility for there on actions or they will not succeed.

Unknown said...

I agree with Tavaris Beal because you do have to have full responsibility or you will fail!

Unknown said...

During my project, I learned to take responsibility for my work because my group members like their work done on time and they like it accurate. I also learned to take patience because one of our group members was taking their time sending the music to us and she sends the music to us on the due date. I feel that this project is going to help me learn to do things on my own because the people I need will not be here for eternity. When I grow up, I am going to have to take responsibility for everything thing I do because if I don’t, I won’t get the job done. I feel that this project has made me a better person because I used to be a dependent person ( a person who needs help on everything), but now I am a independent person ( a person who can help their self).

Unknown said...

What I learned about working with a group, even though my group members tend to play a lot. Is to do my part of the project, because I am not responsible for doing my group members work. I also learned that if you do your work in a timely matter the work gets done faster. When you work with friends who play a lot has an effect on your grades. The next time I do a project like this I will make sure I choose wisely.

Jay said...

I agree with Daniella O. because having other people's opinions can be a little overwhelming especially if you think your idea is great but I think that Mrs.Lavender did this project on purpose to show us the level of maturity and responsibility that it takes to work in a group.

I agree with Tayma Lopez because as this project went on I learned knew things about technology. Which is one of the this that made this project as so far so good experience

Unknown said...

Something that have learned about working in a group effectively is that you have to do something towards the group everyday or else everything else is not going to be able to flow as easily . Because every day you might have input for the images, voice over ect. I think I have learned during this process is that learning how to manage time. The reason why I think I have grown since this process is because I’m usually not good with managing my time wisely and when I don’t manage my time my isn’t my best . The storyboard has actually really helped me grow because it isn’t one time thing you, it is consistent storyboard. I think the moral of this story is that sometimes you have to put forth more effort than the last time you did a project.

Unknown said...

Some of the issues that I have had trouble with in previous projects:
• To feel as though I need to do everyone’s part.
From that I have learned to trust the people in my group because I picked them so I must trust in them.
• To take control of the whole group and bossing
From that I learned that I’m not the only one that has bright ideas and that if I can trust in others, there is no need for a boss.
• To FUSS at other people about doing their part.
I have learned that I cannot worry about when and how others do their part; I just stress the fact that mine has to get done as well. I also realized that sometimes while I’m worrying about someone else’s part, I am not so focused on mine.
I do feel like I have grown from this experience because knowing me, I can really be a pain about my grades. I also feel that even though I have learned from this project, that there is still a lot of things that can do better. I love the people I work with and I know the love me too. I also love the fact that they are very serious about their work. The more I can trust; the less I have to worry about.

Anonymous said...

What I have learned during this group project is that it’s not easy. You have to maintain your part and make sure everyone else has their part. I have learned that majority of the people in my group are very hard workers and know how to get the job done. One of the people that I am working with isn’t a hard worker. I know very well that he/she could do way better. He/She isn’t really putting in any effort into meeting up with us, and trying to get what he/she needs to do their part. I know now that I can never ever work on a project with them again because I already knew that he/she wasn’t going to do anything that was helpful to the project. I know that I may be stepping on their toes, but they have to hear the truth at some point, so it’s best that they hear it now. I knew from the start (when we first got the project) that it wasn’t a good idea to work in a group with him/her, from experience and from others that have had to participate in a group with him/her.

Unknown said...

While working with my group of five, I’ve learned much that I hope to carry on in my next group assignment. First of all, I learned something that should have learned a long time ago. I CAN NOT TAKE OVER. Along with that, I’ve learned more about computer programs. I feel more comfortable with using Windows applications and using them with classwork. I also think I’ve learned to be more trustworthy of my classmates. I can’t do everybody’s part either. I mean, afterall, if I don’t give them a chance they won’t be able to show me if I can trust them or not. I think I’ve grown to be a better team member as I learn to not always lead, but try to be a observant follower.

Unknown said...

I agree with Danielle. I say this because everyone should have the same amount of work. None less or none more. Nobody should have a smart mouth or try to be in control. Like my coach always told me there isn’t an I in team. So we have to work as a team to get the job done.

Unknown said...

I learned you can't do everything yourself. You must let that member of the group get their grade. You must have patience and a good and positive attitude. You may get frustrated, but you can’t keep arguing. You must make a compromise. I feel like I have grown because I don’t play about my work now. I used to be like a hang loose guy because I would keep my grades up on the first half of the year, but on the second half of the year, I start getting lazy and loquacious. When someone in our group need help, one or two go help. While the others work on another part of the project. We don’t spend a lot of time on one part. We do work together sometimes, though.

Unknown said...

During this group project, I’ve learned that it is important to do your portion of the project and not wait to the last minute to do it. I’ve also learned that it is important to pick a good group of people that does their work and pick people who aren’t playful because it is important that they finish and complete the work how it is suppose to be because if they start to not do their part in the project which they’ve signed a contract for then Mrs. Lavender will probably take them off the group and give them a zero for the project, but then you’re going to have to decide how you’re going to do their portion because their gone. The point I’m trying to make is that it is important to who you want in your group. I do feel like I’m growing in this process because I’m learning things that I’ve never done before and it’s adding to my knowledge because the things I’m doing now like downloading videos and things like that I’ve never done that before. So, in my opinion this project is very knowledgeable in lots of ways.

Unknown said...

This project is like picture perfect to my eyes because if you work with the right people at the right pace you are going to get a great grade. I am a good worker and I am capable of doing all of my work and responsibilities, but in order to show how capable you are in a group project you have to pick the right people. I am glad I picked the right people because working with your friends and lazy people will get you a C, D, or F ,and that’s what I learned from my pass experience of group work .The one thing that will help you succeed in group projects, and in everyday battles are the right people .All of the our hard work is going to pay off at the end because we are going to give it our all, we are all there to facilitate one another, and we have our trust in each other’s hands to get an A+. That’s why our project is going to be picture perfect.

Unknown said...

I believe that I have grown by work wise because I have been doing work like my life depends on it. Plus I’ve learned a great lesson today; think before you speak. I’ve learned this lesson by one of my partners. I and my other three partners thought she wasn’t doing anything; since she didn’t show anything to us. We were clueless about what she was doing. To me and my other team we thought we had a slacker on the team. We almost gave up on that team member and we was about to do that teammates job. We were very disappointed of that teammate; so we tried talking to her and talking to her and talking to her, but she just didn’t show any improvement. Even though she wasn’t showing it she was doing it. The day we had to do the evaluation. The teammate finds out about us talking to the teacher. Then the teammate gets an attitude and says I have been doing the work I just didn’t send it to you all. So I believe that always ask before you accuse to.

I agree with Tavaris B. because I actually feel as though I've gotten better at being responsible and mature. This project really has had an effect on me.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Jalyn A. because she says, "I think that this project was a great opportunity to learn about the responsibility and maturity that it takes to actually do a project with other people." And that is 100% true in my opinion, because if you see your group memebers' level of maturity, you will know who to not wok with again and who to work with.

Unknown said...

I agree with Tayma L. because in order to have a progressive project and be successful you have to work hard, be mature, and your part.

Unknown said...

I will agree with Kendra Smith because RESPNSIBLITY is always the key to working effictively. TRUST is also another factor that we must use in order to preform a good task. You have to trust your group, in hopes that they will do their part. You also have to be responsible to get your own done.

Unknown said...

I agree with Royal because it is not easy there going to be some challenges.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Jaylyn Sherrod & Jalanda Matthews because you will have to use what you have learned in the future and you will have some ups and downs along the way.

Unknown said...

I agree with Travis B. I say this because this project is very important. Also, every single part of the project is important. So with that said you have to do your part wither you feel if it is or is not important. So you have to take it seriously, because if you don’t you could probably mess up the whole project.

Unknown said...

I agree with Joshua A. because if you don't have patience you get angry easily. You won't get any where on the project. I agree with Daniella O. because someone won't do their part, and you all have to stop what you are doing to have wing it and it is hard.

Unknown said...

I agree with Holly because when I work with my friends I tend to be playful and get off topic.

Unknown said...

I agree with Zahra because it has a fast pase but you have to keep up otherwise you won’t do good.

Unknown said...

I want to also agree with Erica Lockhart because she pulled in importantant point. If you want to have a good group project, you must start by picking the right people. If they people you pick are playful, then that is already a mistake because you know they are probably going to play and not get their work done. So I think what Erica was saying was use some common sense while picking the people for your group.

Unknown said...

I agree with Daniella O. because it’s hard trying to trust others, but once you’ve done one project with the individual it’s easy to work with them again.

Unknown said...

During this project I’ve learned that you can’t take over or do anybody else’s job. You have to be patient, and you have to let other’s do some of the work. Also I’ve learned how to let other’s do what their suppose to do instead of me just taking over and doing it myself. During this project I’ve learned to trust others. I really like this project because it lets me know that I won’t have to do all the work, and to know that I won’t be able to do anyone else’s part it feels kind of good but scary at the same time. I feel that I have grown during this project because before I would just take over and not let anybody do anything without clearing it with me because I like perfection.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Cynthia G. when she says, "
• To FUSS at other people about doing their part." was one of her issues. When you do this the group gets off topic and you get nothing accomplished. I had to learn how to control this.

Unknown said...

I agree with Erica because it is all in who you pick and how you work .

I have learned that when you’re in groups project with a time limit for each part of the projects it always good to work ahead time instead of doing it at the last minute. Also I have learned that patience and responsibility are one of the main parts in a group project. Sometimes you and your group might have some disagreements working together; they’re going to be some bickering arguing in a group. Working in a group is much easier than working alone. Me and my group members have grown from this project and gained a lot of responsibility.

Sawani said...

During this group assignment, I’ve learned that it is okay to trust othe indiviuals with my grade. I’ve had many bad experiences with groups and with this project I learned so much. For instance, normally in group projects I’m stressed out, up tight, and very moody , but in this group assignment I’ve been a lot more laid back to where I know I don’t have to control everything. I know have the confidence to trust the people in my group because I know I have well-rounded people in my group. Also, I learned that it is a lot better working in a group when everybody has a job andwe’re all under contract. The project has less drama and more ease. I don’t have to worry about someone not doing their job and me doing it for them so that I don’t have a bad grade because if the person doesn’t do his/her job they’re going to be in breech of the contract and will automatically receive a 0 on the project. I think this is a great contract to prepare me for the real world of working with others. I don’t have to depend on myself to do everything in the project. I only have one job, one responsibilty, and one thing to strees me out.

Unknown said...

I would like to agree with Daniella, there is always going to be someone who thinks they are the one doing all the work, to me that shows how their mind works.

Unknown said...

I agree with Daniella because when they don’t do what their suppose to do, you have to push them and make sure everyone is focused.

Unknown said...

I agree with Makayla and Ariyana you can't take over because you have to maintain your part. When you take over you might forget you have to do your part and get an F and everyone else get a A.Do your part and don't take over.

Unknown said...

I really appreciate having a group to work with because you won’t have to stress about doing all the work by yourself. It all depends on the type of people you have in your group, if you don’t have a reliable group or group members you will be doing all the work by yourself, but I hope my group isn’t like that we are still getting to know each other well I am.

Unknown said...

I agree with Tayma Lopez because in order to get this project done you have to be responsible and more mature because I have to work hard, be serious, and complete the assignments on the given due dates.

Some of the things I have learned about working effectively in a group is:
• You have to work together.
• You can’t take over your group.
• You have to collaborate with your other group members.
• You have to get your part done in a timely manner.
• You have to have a positive attitude the whole time you are working with your group.
• Never get an attitude when you don’t get your way.
• Always stay on top of your group members so they can get their part of the project done.
I think I have grown during this process because:
• My group members (especially Sawani) have taught me that I can’t always have things my way.
• I have learned that doing my work late, you receive a big fat zero no matter what your excuse is.

I agree yet disagree with Diamond B. I agree because I too found that it very difficult trying to follow the timeline. I disagree because when you explain how you’ve grown in this process it is somewhat confusing. For instance, you said you’ve gotten better in an amended group. I think you need more contxt clues so that I can comprehend what amended means. Also, I believe next time you need to type this in a word document because it has a lot of errors. Next time, make your response at least a paragraph long because you just sort of leave me hanging.

During the movie project, I’ve learned alot about working in a group. First of all, it’s not easy. You’re always going to come between some disagreements and it’s tough to sort them out. However, it’s very imperative that you don’t bicker about who’s right and who’s wrong. Most projects don’t get finished because they’re still bickering about what they should do for the project. I feel as if I’ve grown during this process because I have never had to work in a group with one particular job before. Over the years, someone always doesn’t do their part in the project so the rest of my group have to clean up for them. However, now, we’re under contract, so if one of us doesn’t do our part,we get kicked out. It’s just like a job. If one of us don’t do are job, we get fired.

I agree with taki coll yet I disagree with taki coll too. I agree because it is very vital that you stay focus and never get off track. But, I’d like to know why your response so short is? Normally, I can use your response as guidance to help me with mine but this time you just left me hanging. I think you could have added more to the response so that I can understand your writing more. Next time, just try to make your response to more interesting because it is very blasé.

I would like to agree with Kameron Langford, everyone’s’ part is very important

Unknown said...

I agree with Gabrielle, b we do have to work as a team to get the job done. Everyone has a part in this project.

Unknown said...

I would like to agree with Roneisha because you have to learn to be patieent and worry about what you have to do rather than someone else's.

Unknown said...

I would like to agree with Halle F. because responsibility is the most important thing when working with others. If no one was responsibility, the project would never get finished.

Unknown said...

I also agree with Kourtney, because working in a group is a big challenge for me, because before I came to this project I did individual projects.

Unknown said...

While working on the group assignment I learned that if your working in a group its easier because if everyone just does their part then the whole group will be finished with their project.I have grown in the process because now i know how to work in a group and being a individual.

Unknown said...

Working in a group, I have learned that you must put your all into your part. One member has not been striving for success in my group, and me and my others members have to take up them, which causes argument in the group. I have also learned that you must be careful on whom you choose in your group, and teamwork is all that matters in a partnership/ group work. Also, I do feel I have grown during the process, because usually if someone is wrong I have a very long argument to support what I think is correct, well now I fix the problem by making a decision that everyone can agree on.

I learned that I need to get my job done on time to work effectively in a group during my movie trailer project. My group and I have grown during this process because some members were slacking in the beginning, but are continuing strong. By this I mean they didn’t work with the group at first, but got their game going.

Unknown said...

I’ve learned a lot from this project. I will benefit from this project because the more you work with other people, then the more patience you’ll grow. Also, this project will help me to learn more about the freedom riders.

Unknown said...

I agree with Daniella O. because I do appreciate being in a group with other members, yet problems arrive, and the frustrations start.

Unknown said...

I learned that working in a group can be hard if somebody doesn’t do their part or if they don’t go to group meetings. Also if they don’t do their part the whole project can fall apart so you have to make sure everyone is doing their part.

Unknown said...

I do feel like I have grown process because when I work a certain part I feel so relaxed and calm. I am so responsible now because when I the work I turn it in on time. My group members can rely on me to do something really important.

Unknown said...

I agree with Cameron Humes because one person can’t do it all. That is why we have a group.

Unknown said...

I have learned that you have to pick responsible, resourceful, and respectful people to be in your group. You can’t pick immature, disrespectful, and irresponsible people. One of my partners and I were yenning for it to be only me and her in our group, but Mrs. Lavender said no, so we procrastinated and had to pick people at the last minute. We should have already picked out people just in case. Next time I have a group project, I’ll try to be ahead of the game; meaning I’ll do things in advance. I have grown a little throughout this project. Some of my partners are immature and playful, so they aren’t really helping me become a better person. I will learn from this and take it on through the rest of my life.

Unknown said...

I also agree with Myranda B., because i learned my work must be done effectively, and on time.

I strongly agree Cameron Brown because that same is now striving for success in our group and is joining in on group discussions

Unknown said...

I learned that working with a group is very easy If everyone does their assignment and not playing. Everyone in my group did their responsibilities and made sure that they turned everything on the right due date. The best part is sometimes in class we get to work with our partners and work on the stuff and brainstorm as a group. I’m glad that Mrs. Lavender let us pick who we wanted in our group because it’s kind of hard to work when you’re working with someone you don’t want to work with. We have been arguing or anything while working on our project so that’s why I think we’re pretty productive.

Unknown said...

I also agree with Myranda Bell because if you don’t do your part, then there will be very big consequences.

During this group project, it has so far been going good; however, sometimes my group members won’t do their part. I usually like working individually or with one other person but this go round I had to work in a group. Working in a group is not one of my favorites because it is hard to get together, because of different group members schedules. When the group does get together, there’s always that one person that likes to play instead of focusing. In conclusion, the exciting part about this project is that I learned how to make a trailer on movie maker

Unknown said...

Working in a group is not easy not at all. I have learned that some group members will not agree with you all the time, but they do have a right to express his/her feelings or opinions. You do need arguing every time a group member expresses their feelings . I have grown during this process because I’ve learned to do my part early.

Unknown said...

I agree with Derrin W. because working together works on patience and you will be able to co-operate with others.

Unknown said...

The things I learned about my group are that they are very intelligent and they do what they are suppose to do. I’ve actually learned that they work very well in groups with other people. They are very sweet people and they do what they are suppose do when it’s time to do it.armchou812

Unknown said...

I agree with Cameron because it's easier to work when you have different people to depend on in your group.

Unknown said...

I agree with Derrin W. because working together works on patience and you will be able to co-operate with others.

Unknown said...

I feel I have grown because when I’m in a group and we’re doing a project, I don’t do as much because I’m working in a group. I thought they could do all the work and I could make an easy A, but when you work in a group with certain people you gain maturity because those other students are very playful and procrastinators. So then you have to do your part in the group and tell the instructor and/or teacher no one in the group is doing their part, but me/you. So you know you aren’t going to be the supervisor in the group, just laid back and watch everyone else do the work.
I agree with Holly, because at first I didn’t know anything about the computer except the internet and downloading stuff on the computer, now if we have another project & its individual I know how to make a movie trailer by myself.
I also agree with Gabrielle because you can’t be bossy in your group and expect everyone to listen to you and agree with everything you say, you’re not the King!

Anonymous said...

Working in the group has changed the way I think about some things. It has showed me that sometimes everyone won’t agree with the same things, and that sometimes everyone has their own opinion about things. I think personally and mentally I have grown with working in this project because now I know how to solve things more easily instead of arguing and making it hard for other people in my group. I’m calmer now about things that I don’t agree with.

Unknown said...

I disagree with Derrin Wilson because other group memebers shouldn't have to wait on you to get something done.

Unknown said...

I agree with Danilla because a project an sometimes be stressful.

Unknown said...

During this project I have learned that teamwork is the key to the project. If no one had did their part the process would not have went smoothly, like it did. During the process I have grown in responsibility during this process. I have enjoyed the process and I have picked the right group for the job.

Unknown said...

I feel that I have grown during the process of working with my group members. I have learned to take responsibility and that no one is going to tell me when to do everything in the real world. I have also noticed this stuff is not hard but if you play you just going to miss the due date. The due dates come fast if you don’t pay attention to what is going on. My group has made good progress. I know we could fix some things, but we are still doing good, at least in my opinion.

Unknown said...

I do think that that I have grown, because I fell as if I say more now ,and I can explain myself more

Anonymous said...

One I have learned from working effectively with a group is that sometimes you will have to multi-task. I also learned that you can’t procrastinate when people are depending on you to do your job and help them make the grade. One more thing I learned is that it’s not fair if all the group is doing their work while one group member plays around. I do feel as if I have grown during this process because I learned never to procrastinate and that you should do your part no matter when as long as you help out. I have also learned that even though I’m in a group I still can’t be dependant I have to remain independent.

Unknown said...

I disagree with kenneth because it is very easy working in group and it easy to communicate and give constructive criticism.

Unknown said...

I agree with Madison C. because not everyone is resourceful.

Unknown said...

Some things that I have learned while working with my group on the movie trailer is that some of my group members are responsible but there is one person in my group who slacks on her work a little. Sometimes it is difficult working with people you barely know because you don’t know their work ethic and how much they dedicate to completing their work. I feel that I have grown throughout this project because I have become more responsible and more organized. When you are working in a group you learn to become more responsible and organized because the whole group is counting on you to do your part.

Unknown said...

Some of the things that I have learned about working in effectively in a group during my movie trailer project is that when you argue all the time it get frustrating and you never get anything accomplished. You have to come as a whole figure something that everybody agrees on, or you can just combine everybody’s idea. I think I have grown during this process because other times when I am in a group I would always think that my ideas are better than my group member’s idea. I would always try to get them to choose my idea instead of theirs, but know I listen to everybody’s idea and we come together and choose the best one.

Unknown said...

I agree with Kenneth M. because your members won’t always want to do what you want to do so you’ll have to compromise.

Unknown said...

I agree with Tamiya T. because during this project you have grown mentally.

Unknown said...

I also agree wiht Tamiya because sometimes you have to disagree with your group members in order to get a solution.

Unknown said...

Things that we have discussed in the group project are what we have been doing and how good we’ve been doing things. To be honest, I have not been putting my full effort into the project, but now I changed and gotten better at working with people. I’ve learned that the people in my group will not accept an F under any conditions and I will try my hardest to do the same thing.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Hunter because you have a responsibility when you are in a group and you should do what you are responsible for

Anonymous said...

I disagree with Takyah G. Everyone has their part to do in the group. Everyone is supposed to contribute to the group effort.

Unknown said...

Some things I have learned while working effectively in a group project is that in order for your project to be a success everyone has to do their part. If someone misses their part then the project is not going to be as great as you want it to be. I also have learned that you can not take charge because everyone is responsible for themselves. My group is respectful, responsible, and resourceful so we really haven’t encountered any problems. I think I have grown because I have become more responsible and resourceful.

Unknown said...

One of the things I learned while working in a group is cooperation. Usually when I’m working by myself, I do everything by myself. I don’t need to discuss with any other people. In a group, you have to confirm all your changes with your fellow group members. I honestly think I have grown on a social level. Now, I know how to cooperate with others when it comes to work.

Unknown said...

I agree with Daniella because group projects can be rather frustrating.

Unknown said...

I’ve learned in working in a group in the movie trailer project is that you have to make sure you do your part, because it will affect the whole group. When your meeting in a group you have to make sure your talking about the project because you will not get anything done .I think that I have grown in the process , because I started being more responsible for my assignments I just can’t let the other people in the group do it.

Anonymous said...

I have learned a lot by working in a group for the freedom riders movie trailer project. Doing and completing your part is a great responsibility. Like in a baking contest, if you are supposed to bring a cake that you have baked that’s your responsibility to get the baking done. This relates to the project, because everyone in the group was assigned a part to complete. It is your responsibility to get the work done and send it to the teacher on time. learned that you have to do your part first before you can worry about someone else. I say this, because if you do your part everyone will be able to get the project done. Many people intend to procrastinate and never get the work done. If you end up in the group with them you must be able to work with people so you can be able to know what the person is going to do and what they are not going to do. This project wil,l teach me how to be able to get along with my peers and my group members. If you have different opinions all you have to do is let your group members know.

Unknown said...

I think I have grown because I now know how to give constructive criticism and not be mean or rude when I am saying it also I have grown with do my stuff early and not procrastinating because we have due dates.

Unknown said...

I learned a lot of things being in a group movie trailer. I’ve learned that the people in my group have other special skills. I’ve learned more about them with the consequences at a very high level and they will not tolerate a 0%F. I’ve also learned more about my abilities to help in a movie trailer. I thought when we had 6 people instead of 5 we would be in trouble but, it is a lot more helpful. I feel as if I’ve grown because my group members think highly of me in the project. I even know why they chose me as a group partner because they noticed I get my work done and try not to play a lot to increase my maturity.

Unknown said...

I agree with Cameron Brown because everyone must do their job to get the work done.

Unknown said...

I disagree with Ryan H. because it is not easy working in group at times and it not very easy to communicate and give constructive criticism, because that is your friend and you shouldn't make them feel left out.

Unknown said...

I also agree with Zaryah C. because if you don’t compromise you would get any work done.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Marcell B. Some people in the group, (like myself) have standards on their self and will not except an F just because of someone else’s foolishness.

Unknown said...

I agree with Zahra B. because it is a fast pase, but you do have to understand if you do what youre supposed to then it won't be such a breeze.

Anonymous said...

I agree with Daniella O. because working in a group can cause frustration. I also agree because there is one group member who says they have done everything but really didn't do anything.

Unknown said...

I agree with Alexandria C. because if the whole group is doing their part then the project will be finished in no time however, if the whole group is slacking then the group will not be successful in completing the project.

Unknown said...

I agree with Tamiya because when you're working in a group it's not all about your opinions.

Unknown said...

I also agree with Henry B., because you do have to multi-task a lot.

Unknown said...

I have grown during the project because if you play a lot then you will not have your part turned in on the due date you have to turn it in.I learned that I can’t do anyone else part in my group,I have to trust my group members ,and if they need any help then that’s when I help them but I can’t do their part in the project

Unknown said...

I agree with Hunter G. because you have a responsibility of doing what you are suppose to do when you are in a group and you should work together as a team to accomplish your goals of getting a good grade.

Unknown said...

I agree with Madison because when you are being respectful, responsible, and resourceful then you can accomplish things without running into any problems with your project and your group members.

Unknown said...

I agree with Danielle, because everyone should have the same amount of work so someone will not say they did all the work.

Unknown said...

I agree with Erica Lockhart because if you get the wrong people for a project who play all the time then you can’t get any work done.

Unknown said...

I agree with Daniella because if everyone in the group did have equal amounts of work there would be no problems.

Unknown said...

I also agree with Kennedy because a lot of people choose to procrastinate.

Anonymous said...

I sgree with Cameron Humes because i also, learned that I can’t do anyone else part in my group,I have to trust my group members.

Unknown said...

I agree with Alexandria C. because if the whole group stay on task then, the project will go fine.

Unknown said...

I agree with Halle Fortson, because you do need to make sure everyone has their part down so that you know for sure that thing has been done and you can move on.

Unknown said...

I agree with Lacorian H. because if everyone does their part then the group will be able to cooperate throughout the entire project.

Unknown said...

I agree with DeCarlo Howared because it is easier working in our groups

Unknown said...

I do feel as though I have grown during this process. I feel that I have grown by the way I work very corporately with my group. When we work together we work together we accomplish much out of it. Something that I have learned about working effectively in a group is that we can get more work done.

Unknown said...

I agree with Daniella because working in a group a group does get frustrating, but it does not help you accomplish anything. That is why you have to set your problems aside and focus on the project.

Unknown said...

I’ve learn that my group is very creative on this movie trailer. They are hard workers they would try to do anything to get their work done. I feel like I have grown while doing this project because doing this I’ve did everything they ask of me and more. So now I have finished something.

Unknown said...

I love working in groups because they make projects seem less like projects. Being able to get a group together with my friends makes my nerves brighten up, but there are some cons on working in groups. You have to pick your group which is one of the hard parts because you have to choose wisely. You have to pick the hard workers in the class; you can’t pick the slackers in the class because they will take your grade down to the floor. I have learned that being in a group with your “best” friend isn't a good choice all of the time.

Unknown said...

I agree with Hunter Gaines because if you play a lot then you would never get your part done in your group.I also agree with Jamar Hardy because You don't have time to do other people job, and you cant worry about other people part. You have to do your part only.

Unknown said...

I say that working as a group has really affected my people skills. Also, it helped me grow as a group member.

Unknown said...

I also agree with Nickolas because if you don’t have cooperation in a project mainly everyone would yell at each other and just waste their time. If you have cooperation you can get the job done no matter what. Everyone would say their own ideas instead of saying “No I want to do this” “No I don’t want to do that.” All I can say is if you don’t have cooperation you will not succeed.

Unknown said...

Throughout the project, I have learned that, being the only white person in my group, can be tough, but it is still fun, I have to talk country in the project, but I don’t exactly know how to speak country any time I want. If you know what I am saying, anyways……… I have not had this experience at my old school, so it is a whole lot of fun.

Unknown said...

I feel that I have grown in the process of doing the trailer project. My group didn’t work effectively for real because there is a lot of confusion going on. I learned that if you don’t do your responsibility on time you will miss your due date and that can affect your group project grade. When one person in the group messes up the whole group messes up.

Unknown said...

I agree with Daniella Odogwu because a lot of people do say they have done all of the work when they do half of what they’re supposed to do and it makes your group look sloppy. It’s not an independent assignment it’s called team work for a reason.

Unknown said...

I agree with faith moultrie because groups are fun and it don't feel like a group when working with other people.

Unknown said...

I agree with Zahra Bevelle because like I said it is easier and more fast pace in a group.

Unknown said...

I agree with Jemar because you don't have time to do anybody else job.

Unknown said...

What I have learned since being in a group is that I need to take every bodies opinion into consideration even if I don’t agree because it is their project also. I agree with Danielle O. because it does become frustrating when somebody doesn’t do their or is always playing I also agree with Jaylyn S. because I take away things that I can use in my next group assignment. That is what I learned since being in a group.

Unknown said...

I agree with Cameron Humes because you don't have time to play it's work time

Unknown said...

I agree with Antonio Wilkins because if you're lazy no work can get done.

Unknown said...

I agree with Kenndy Jenkins because you are responsible for doing your work and that is a great responsiblty.

Unknown said...

I agree with Jaclyn Sherrod because I have also benefited from this project.

Unknown said...

I also agree with Daniell because I also appreciate this opportunity.

Unknown said...

I agree with James because you must do your part or your group will not have what they need to get a good.

Unknown said...

In this movie trailer project I have learned how things can go faster when you have a group. I also have learned how to make a trailer. Also I’ve learned that in group projects every part of it is important. I feel I have grown to learn that everyone has to help other people with their part so they can work together.

Unknown said...

I agree with Tamiya because you do have to make sure everyone likes one idea.
